Born in the town of Yasnogorsk, Tula region. Younger brother S. N. Terentyev. From 1979 to 1984 he studied at the Palekh art school. Teachers Y. A. Brovkin, A.V. Gordeev. In 1984-1989 he worked at the Palekh art-production workshops. Themes of works: literature, genre scenes. Participant of exhibitions since 1998.
