Sculptural portraits ("Lenin school", 1949; "Dmitry Kabalevsky" (1967), "Anne Frank", 1969), sculpture ("Down with the war!" 1960; "the Sailor and the nurse", 1973), monuments (Sov. to the soldiers-winners in Berlin, 1945; to Lenin in Ulyanovsk and Kazan, 1953 and 1954; General Karbysheva at Mauthausen, 1962; Yesenin in Moscow, 1972; R. Zorge in Moscow, 1985), etc. The Winner Of The St. (1950) and Flax. (1984) Ave.

People's artist of USSR, member of USSR Academy of arts, laureate of USSR State prize and prize of the RSFSR behalf I. E. Repin. Works in monumental and easel sculpture. The author of a number of monuments installed in Moscow and other cities of the Soviet Union and abroad was Born in 1917 in Odessa. He graduated in 1948 from Moscow state evil divine Institute. V. I. Surikov in the workshop of R. R. Iodko. Participant of art exhibitions since 1947. Major works: "Lenin-the schoolboy" (1949, the state Tretyakov gallery), portraits of cultural figures and art, contemporaries. Monuments: Lieutenant General D. M. Karbyshev (1962, Mauthausen, Austria), the Polish-Soviet war the Commonwealth (1968, Byelorussian SSR), S. Yesenin (1972, Moscow); Novorossiysk memorial complex of the civil and the great Patriotic war (1978).
