The battle scenes and genre painter Ivan S. Rosen was born in the famous and rich Moscow family. Prone to art of Ivan taught drawing fine artist and Illustrator, Professor of art history A. I. Charlemagne. Twelve years Ivan Rosen was given in the corps of pages, and at twenty he entered the Moscow school of painting, sculpture and architecture. In 1886 I. Rosen received the title of class artist. Their preferences in visual art, he gives the military theme. In this direction, I. S. Rosen achieves quick success in 1893, awarded the title of academician of battle painting. Created in subsequent years, a series of paintings about the best Guards in Paris in 1814, gives an idea not only about our wonderful guards, but also the style and skill of the painter.
