Born in Rostov-on-don, attended evening art school of Rostov-na-Donu, then to the XXY (1923-1926) and in Kiev GHEE (1926-1931) under Fyodor Krichevsky. Arrived in Sverdlovsk in 1932 to work at the club, Uralmashzavod, where he led isotrak, a lot of drawing. Did a series of linocut portraits of V. I. Lenin, I. V. Stalin, M. I. Kalinin, A. Gorky, A. Chekhov, A. Pushkin, R. Luxemburg and K. Liebknecht (1933-1934), sculpture "Formatsize" and "the activities lady-skater" (gypsum, 1934). Worked as an instructor of itsector of the Sverdlovsk regional House of Amateur art (1934), exhibiting self-taught artists, presenting interesting articles in local Newspapers. Sculptor CCLS (1935-1939). Led isocratic in the club. N. F. Zakharov (1935-1936), taught in kaslinskiy SMHL (1937-1940) and RU № 18 (1941-1944). The author of the figure for fountain "fishwife" (cement, 1936) and the sculpture "Maternity" (cement, 1939). Executed in cast iron (1935-1939): bas-relief portraits of Karl Marx, V. I. Lenin, G. K. Ordjonikidze; sculptural portraits of Gorky and Pushkin; statuettes "Rabfakovsky", "Bergs", "Marina Raskova", "Freed slave". He taught at the Rostov art vocational College (1946-1949).
