Was born in Moscow. He studied at the Moscow GHEE (1946-1952) P. Y. Pavlinov, R. R. Iodko, N. V. Tomsk. Lives in Moscow. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Honored artist of the RSFSR (1983). Works in easel sculpture and small sculptures. Animal painter. The participant of regional, all-Russian, all-Union and international exhibitions (since 1966); four solo exhibitions (1993, 1995 – Moscow, 1997 – Arkhangelsk). Kusa in his models produced the figures: "Foal lying" (1964), "Deer" "Antelope", "Boar" (1966), "Zebra" (1968), "Horse" (1968), "Gazelle" (1969), "Peacock", "Rhino", "Sheep" (1970).
