Alekseevich Shatilov

Painter, graphic artist. He painted landscapes, still lifes, genre scenes. He studied at the school-Studio of I. I. Mashkov. In 1928 he graduated from the painting Department of the art courses at AHR. Participated in exhibitions since 1928. A member of the Union of artists of the USSR from 1941 . In 1941-45 he worked in publishing house "Truth". In 1957-65, he taught at the Moscow textile Institute. In the 1930s he worked together with S. Yu. Pimenov, co-authored with him executed murals for the international exhibition in new York, solo exhibition. was held in Moscow in 1953.
