Member of the Union of artists of the USSR (Russia) since 1985. Muralist, graphic artist, painter.
Born September 5, 1947 in the village Pustovalova Samara region. He studied at the graphic art faculty of the Oryol teacher's College (1965-1968, not finished), then in Kharkov art-industrial Institute, Department of monumental-decorative painting (1968-1976.). In 1976 he received a distribution in Kemerovo. Participant of exhibitions since 1977. Since 1986 lives and works in Novokuznetsk. 14 solo exhibitions in museums and galleries in Russia and abroad (Germany, Austria). Is a winner and the winner of the regional competitions, a participant of the symposiums, conferences, Congress of art and culture in Russia and Germany.
Known public and cultural figure of Siberia (organization of major exhibitions, symposia and art projects in Siberia and Germany). Writes poetry and songs.
