Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

People's artist of the RSFSR, corresponding member of the USSR Academy of arts, laureate of the State prize of the USSR.

Graduated from Moscow. Later (1928), a pupil of I. Efimov, I. Chaikov. Lived and worked in Moscow. Sculptural portraits of ("Kirov", 1935; "K. Igumnov", 1939; "Tchaikovsky", 1947; "Sergei Chaplygin", 1950; "B. Russell", 1966; "Korolev", 1981), the monument to Lenin in Sochi (1957), tombstones, etc. The Winner Of The St. St. (1948).
