Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

He graduated from the Minsk art College in 1957, then in 1963, the Belarusian theatre and art Institute. Studied with Maliszewski, Tsvirko. A member of the Union of artists of Belarus. Participant of art exhibitions since 1963. Worked in easel painting and graphics. Most famous works: the canvases "the Last war", "Bad feeling", "Chase", "the oath of the partisans", "the Liberation of Minsk", "Battle of Orsha", "I Believe, will rise again", a series of watercolors "Narochansky pine" leaves "Lakes of Karelia", "Summer evening".

Works Tikhanovich are in the National art Museum of Belarus, Museum of modern art in Minsk, in the collection of Belarusian Union of Artists, Belarusian Museum of the great Patriotic war, the Literary Museum of Yanka Kupala, the Belarusian Museum of history of theatrical and musical culture, and Protection of the Mogilev regional museums.
