Born in 1947 in Transcarpathia.
In 1971 he graduated from art-graphic faculty of the Odessa pedagogical Institute. Ushinsky (head Efimenko V. G.).
From 1974 to 1998 worked as a lecturer at the Department of drawing and painting, architectural Institute of Odessa state Academy of architecture and construction.
Repeated participant of international, Republican and all-Ukrainian art exhibitions. Since 1995 member of the National Union of artists of Ukraine.
The works of Mykola Vorokhta is stored in the Ministry of culture of Ukraine and in private collections in France, Japan, UK , USA, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, Estonia and other countries.
