Dobryakova Kira Timofeevna is the same age as the Victory, she was born on May 4, 1945 in Leningrad. Parents - blockade survivors, front-line workers (veterans of the Great Patriotic War). Father - Balykovsky Timofey Ivanovich. Mother - Dobryakova Evdokiya Fedorovna.

From 1963 to 1966 studied at the Art studio at the Kapranov House (Leningrad). The head of the O.A.. Sidlin.
Graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography (LGITMiK), faculty of theatre and production in 1971. She studied in the class of People's Artist of the USSR, Professor N.P. Akimov and Honoured Art Worker D.V. Afanasyev.

Since 1974 - Member of the Union of Theatre Workers of Russia (WTO).
Since 1978. - Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (Russia).

Worked with many renowned theatre directors: A.Y. Haykin, Y.M. Kirzner, R.S. Agamirzyan, S.Y. Spivak, I.P. Vladimirov, A.A. Belinsky, L.Y. Stukalov, A.A. Blinov.
She has collaborated as a set designer and costume designer with theatres throughout the country in Leningrad-St. Petersburg, Sverdlovsk, Kursk, Omsk, Izhevsk, Pskov, Saratov, Ivanovo, etc.

She has designed over 80 productions. The most significant ones:
