Olga Petrova. Other shores

In the Lviv National Museum of the name of Andrey Sheptytsky there is an exhibition of Olga Petrova "Other shores". This exposition is a pictorial ode to the beauty and diversity of the world. Travels in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, the artist embodied in powerful and lyrical images. Five halls - five scenic cycles. The artist shows the viewer his individual vision of the world and events, stories and countries.

Olga Petrova - artist, art historian, doctor of philosophical sciences, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1986, professor at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and the Institute of Contemporary Art. Works as an artist, historian and art critic. The works are in the collections of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, Chernivtsi Art Museums, Chernihiv, Khmelnitsky, the National Museum in Lviv, the National Art Museum of Ukraine (Kiev), the Art Museum of Georgia, in the Sitrakut Gallery (Calcutta), the Yad Museum Yours ”(Jerusalem), the libraries of the British Museum (London), the Art Center“ Muse ”(Osaka), in galleries and private collections in Kiev, Moscow, London, Nottingham, Amsterdam, Calcutta, Toronto, Budapest, Osaka.
