In the exhibition halls of the Russian Academy of Arts will be held an exhibition of works by a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, a member of the International Art Fund Elena Vladimirovna Starostina “Striving Up”.
It exhibits paintings and drawings of the author, including a series of urban and mountain landscapes and permeated with the theme of the spiritual ascent of man.
Elena Starostina prefers monochrome color solutions that help her convey the unique atmosphere of each individual place. The author does not create naturalistic views, but rather focuses the viewer's attention on certain fragments, pulling out the details of interest from the extensive panorama, which creates the illusion of timeless soaring over space. Elena Starostina’s personal and group exhibitions were held in the museums of the capital, and abroad - in Bucharest, Vienna, cities of Germany and the Netherlands.
