Immigration is a topic that excites many people. In connection with a change in policy and a change in values that affect the lives of many people in our society and beyond. Exhibition "
Immigrant Artists and the American West"pays attention to how art is associated with personal and political issues related to immigration.
Immigration has been a problem affecting people in the American West since this region was first explored by Europeans. In the 19th and 20th centuries, the largest waves of immigration to the West were noted when people came from the north, south, east, and west. Often, in search of better opportunities, immigrants have had a profound influence on helping to settle and develop the West. Among immigrants there are artists who create works that emphasize people, places and ideas that matter in their new homeland. Immigrant artists share visions that further reveal their interests and experience in the West and are sometimes associated with both positive and negative experiences of immigration.
