From nothingness to infinity

Exhibition 7 August − 28 November 2021
Odessa Museum of Western and Eastern Art hosts exhibition "From nothingness to infinity.".

The exhibition presents unique wall and floor tapestries by French, Italian and Belgian masters, clothing and tapestry furniture from private collections.

Tapestry is a type of decorative art, originated in the Middle Ages, a one-sided lint-free wall rug with a plot or ornamental composition, woven by hand by cross-weaving threads. The weaver passes the thread through the backing, creating both the image and the fabric itself.
