The exhibition "A Message to Mr. F." - is an artist's reflection on the mystery of creativity. What is art? Is it creativity guided by reason, or is art always based on a concept?
The exhibition "Message to Mr. F." presents the works of more than 40 St. Petersburg artists, including Nikita Rotanov, Vadim Bo. Artists of "St. Petersburg school of fantastic realism" Nikolai Danilevsky and Natalia Khodyacheva. Anton Shablykin, Boris Zinkevich, Vitaly Valge, Alla Lipatova, Nikolay Reznichenko, Alexey Maevsky and others.
Curators of the exhibition - Oleg Oskolkov and Natalia Markelova refer to the ideas of psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud, who believed that children, poets and artists live in their imaginary world, feel safe in it and create in their fantasies and dreams.
Will the authors of the works in the "Message to Mr. F." exhibition succeed in being understood by the viewer and will he find there something that concerns and touches him?
