Masaccio and Renaissance Masters

Exhibition 23 April − 23 October 2022
The Uffizi Gallery and the Masaccio Museum invite you to visit the exhibition "Masaccio and the Masters of the Renaissance".

To commemorate the 600th anniversary of Masaccio's San Govenale triptych, the altarpiece by the great Renaissance master is shown in dialogue with the works of the great artists of the time.

It is the first known work painted by the great painter Tommaso Giovanni di Monet, nicknamed Masaccio, a genius whose art revolutionized 15th-century Italian painting and left its mark on history.
