The National Museum of the Arts of Catalonia hosts an exhibition "Turner. Light is Color.".
The exhibition features about a hundred works, paintings, drawings, sketches and prints of the master, recognized as the best landscape painter of the Romantic era for his amazing skill in conveying light and atmosphere.
Turner gained his main inspiration from his travels in Britain and continental Europe, and his landscapes include many sources, from tradition to innovation, from classical mythology to art history and technological inventions.
