Ekaterina Kiseleva was born in Moscow. She studied at Moscow State Academic Lyceum of Russian Academy of Fine Arts and in a private art studio in Abramtsevo, graduated from the St. Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts (a workshop of monumental painting under the direction of A.A. Mylnikov).
While studying at the institute, she completed an internship in the mosaic workshop of the Academy of Arts (under the direction of A.K. Bystrov), copying frescoes of the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary of the Snetogorsk Monastery of the 14th century in Pskov, by decision of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts she was awarded a medal for academic success, won the first prize at the student exhibition of drawings and got the praise of the Academy Council many times.
Ekaterina is a winner of international art exhibitions and competitions of contemporary art in Madrid (2012), Moscow (Center of Contemporary Art "M'ARS", 2012; Gostiny Dvor, 2019), Antalya (2013), Portugal (Gallery of the Union of Artists, 2013), Geneva (Nest Gallery, 2014), New Delhi (2019), Vienna (2020), Mexico (2024).
She also took part in an exhibition the 8th International Festival of Russian Art in Italy (2008), the Mobile Academy of Arts project (2011), international art exhibitions in Vilnius (2010), Berlin (2012), Fano (2012), Hong Kong (2011 – 2013), Riga (2013), Moscow (2013, 2018, 2019), Prague (2014), Lisbon (2014), Thessaloniki (2018), Beijing (2024), Hanoi (2024).
Ekaterina was awarded a diploma for creative achievements in the fine arts from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. She is a member of the Russian Union of Artists. Her works are in the state and private collections of Russia and abroad.
