Someone is going for some reason somewhere. A man with his packhorses goes over a pass in the Caucasus.

This theme of "the man by going from here to there for his needs, for his work or family" fascinates me, because it did not change over Thousands of years. It's a parable for our search in life for meaning and fulfilment through the highs and lows, the happy and the boring and the dangerous moments of each life.

Painted on a raw glued canvas it gives a warm rough background against some Blue of hope in grey and against the black strokes of the drawing.
