Sergeyevich Bogdanov

Vladimir Bogdanov (1863 – 1921.) – Russian painter and graphic artist. From 1888 to 1894 were trained at the school and College at the Academy of fine arts. Received many awards, including medals from the Moscow art school. November 5, 1894, Bogdanov became the class artist for his paintings "the Rookie" and "the Last crop".

At the end of his career (1902 – 1916) Vladimir Bogdanov lived in the city of Borisov in the Kursk region, where he worked as a teacher in the workshop of icon painting. For the time of his active creative work, the painter and graphic artist has made a significant contribution to the Treasury of the cultural heritage of their country. The artist depicted on his canvases mostly people from the common people, because he saw in them the true heroes of their country. So often in the paintings of graphics are present everyday scenes.

Vladimir Bogdanov, along with other figures of fine art, has left a valuable mark in the history of Russian painting.
