Painter, graphic artist, honored. artist of Tajik.SSR (1968). He graduated from the Saratov hood. Uch-school (1930). Participant of exhibitions from 1927. From 1930 he lived in Moscow. Often traveled to Central Asia, where he found subjects for his works. Paintings "Bazaar in Khujand" (1934), "portrait of a Tajik woman" (1939), "Old Bukhara" (1947), "Nefteabad" (1961), etc.
