Natanovich Zisman

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

Was born in Kiev. He studied at the art College. In 1934-37 he studied at the Moscow Institute of advanced training of artists. In 1933-34 he worked in the far East as a teacher of drawing and sketching at school and College. From 1937 to 1953 (with breaks) he served in the Soviet Army. Participated in the great Patriotic war. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR since 1947. Participant of numerous exhibitions since 1945, in Leningrad in 1962, 1965, 1971 and 1983 held solo exhibitions of the artist. Author of landscapes, portraits, still lifes, genre compositions. Manner of Zisman characterize a certain looseness, temperament, complex color harmony and lyrical mood.

Works are in state Russian Museum and collection of contemporary art Central exhibition hall "Manege", St. Petersburg.
