Filippovich Levi

Painter. He mainly painted academic landscapes and still-lifes later. Born in Kharkiv. Received his law degree and served on the jury of the trial chamber in the St. Petersburg district. Since 1916, devoted himself to art. He was a confidant and Secretary of the famous artist I. Repin, organizer and partner of the exhibitions of Ilya Repin (1919 - 1930). Lived and worked in Paris (1930 - 1939), then in Stockholm. The artist's works are stored in museums of France, Russia, Sweden, Finland.
