Graduated from Moscow art-industrial school im. M. I. Kalinin (1933-37), teachers S. Evangelou, B. Lange; Moscow art Institute. V. I. Surikov (1937,1941-44), teachers V. domogatskii, L. Sherwood, A. Matveev; Kiev art Institute (1944-45), where he studied with M. Guelman. HO member of the CFS since 1946. The participant of Republican, all-Union and international exhibitions since 1947. Solo exhibitions: Kharkiv — 1957. He taught at the Lviv school of decorative art (1946-47), Lviv Institute of applied and decorative art (1947-56), KhSAI-hhpi (1956-66). Laureate of the state prize of the USSR (1952).
