He studied at the educational workshops of the Committee of guardianship of Russian iconography. After the October revolution, he studied at the Artel of ancient painting. A member of the Cooperative since 1933. The participant of the great Patriotic war from 1941. Died in 1942.

Themes of works: folklore, genre scenes. Participated in exhibitions since 1933. The works of A. E. Shuranova is stored in the State Museum of Palekh art, the folk art Museum.
