Vasilyevich Vikulov

Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Born into a peasant family at Tobolsk. Sculpture engaged from 1935, starting with 1937 participates in all-Union and Republican and International exhibitions. The participant of the great Patriotic war. Fought as a gunner. The main theme of creativity of F. V. Vikulova — Russia, its heroic past, its ascetics and heroes: “the PDP. Sergius of Radonezh”, “the Warriors-monks Peresvet and Oslyabya”, “the Winged slave”, “Peter-Construction”, “Ermak”. Among his works are the sculptural portraits of knn. Svyatoslav, Alexander Nevsky, Dmitry Donskoy and Mikhail Kutuzov, Pushkin and Mendeleev.
