Son lamp and window apprentice at Admiralty shipyard, painter of landscapes and topographical views, he was born 15 Jun 1771 in St. Petersburg, studied at the Academy of Arts from 1776; in 1791 was awarded for "lalena and cutting on steel" the second silver medal; in 1794 issued with a certificate and artist of the first degree and was awarded the sword; died November 24, 1837 (Smith)

"Artillery Department lamppost Okoneshnikovo business apprentice son." In 1776 he entered the Academy of arts in 1791 – 2 silver medals; in 1794 – the title of the artist 1st degree and a sword; thereupon received a certificate and was left at the Academy. In 1795 "is defined for the execution of any works in his art" (referred to as medallist); in 1796, entered the Mint in "medal apprentice". Engraver on steel and draughtsman.
