Alexandrovich Volkov

Volkov Alexander Alexandrovich was born in Tashkent. Son of the famous Russian artist Alexander Nikolaevich Volkov (1886-1957). In 1959 he graduated from the Republican art College im. N. Benkova (Tashkent). In 1966, he graduated from MVHPU (former Stroganov). Since 1974 member of artists Union of the USSR. Participant of many art projects and exhibitions in Russia and abroad. The artist's works are in the collections of the state Russian Museum, state Tretyakov gallery, Museum of art of peoples of the East (Moscow), Zimmerly Museum (new Jersey, USA), Art Museum "New Jerusalem" and in other museums of Russia and abroad.
