Description of the artwork «There was a call for you, and you.....!»

Still Life, part of the "You got a phone call and you...!" series
Size: 50x50 cm
Materials: Oil on organite.
The work was inspired by Matisse's marvelous graphics and old everyday objects from the 20th century, such as a metal ice cream scoop from the USSR, a porcelain coffee cup from an old German set, a coffee pot and vintage postcards. All of them look wonderful together and each one separately nevertheless has its own symbolism in this company.

So the ice cream and coffee creamer - as if to remind us not to forget to pause, to enjoy the simple, fleeting pleasures of life - after all, you can never get everything done....

The girl in the red sports swimsuit tossing the ball up is an allegory of our plans and desires - which are constantly "spinning" in our heads and we somehow launch these thoughts into the world.
The dice in the foreground are a symbol of what we have but never know for sure how or what will happen to us even today....
The poster with Matisse's drawing of a pensive girl is a symbolic reference to the fact that it would be good to stop from time to time and look at everything that happens in our lives as if from the outside... Almost always at such moments you can notice something important that somehow escapes us in the everyday hustle and bustle. There are some more symbolic things in this still life - but I will leave their symbolism to your discretion :)))))
