Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.
He studied at the Central school of technical drawing Stieglitz in St. Petersburg.
In 1923 33 years he studied at the Latvian Academy of arts, where he graduated from the workshop of Figurative painting with diploma work "the Ball in the countryside."
The artist painted genre scenes, but the main of his work was historical theme.
Most of his works are executed in oil technique, but Waldemar vimba considered also a good draughtsman.
