Was born in Moscow. In 1969 he graduated from the make-up Department of the Moscow theatrical art and technical College. He worked as an assistant artist on to/with it. Gorky. In 1978 he graduated from the art faculty of VGIK (workshop M. Bogdanova, N. Yurova). Since 1978 — Director-artist to/from "Mosfilm". Since 1986, teaching since 1988, leads a workshop on the art faculty of VGIK, since 1996 — head. the Department of art faculty. Art Director of TV program "Dolls" (1996, NTV). Since 1996 he works in advertising. Awarded: 2006 the Prize "Golden eagle" (For the best work of the artist-producer, the film "Doctor Zhivago")
