Nikolay
Alekseevich Sheverdyaev

Russia • 1872−1952

Studied at the Moscow engraver V. A. Ermolov and Sunday classes of the Stroganov school of industrial art in Moscow (1890-1895); in the late 1900s, attended drawing classes society for the encouragement of arts, Central school of technical drawing of Baron Stieglitz (1898-1905), where he studied engraving under the direction of VV mate and etching - under the direction of N.Z.Panova.

In the late 1900s he worked as an assistant in the engraving I. N. Pavlova. From the 1920s he taught in VKhUTEMAS etching, was Dean of the graphic faculty.
