Dragonfly 2

Analyzing my work, I realized that I very often depict a dragonfly. When I was just starting out, I didn't know what the symbol meant, but I made that choice intuitively. And only later I began to study the meaning of my unconscious choice. Dragonfly-2 is one of my favorite paintings. Insects are the traditional symbol of the brief human existence on earth, and dragonflies and butterflies are the symbol of the soul's salvation. Sometimes, like the butterfly, it represents immortality, rebirth, which applies to our senses - their ability to recover. It is as if the dragonfly is in two worlds. Looking at the dragonfly, one thinks that our life is just as fleeting, that we should not turn it into a dull reality
According to the laws of feng shui, the dragonfly heralds new beginnings, gives prosperity and happiness.
