Evchuk-Egorova (Chuvina)

Varvara Evchuk-Egorova (Chuvina) is a Russian theater production designer, costume designer, and restorer.

Graduated from the St. Petersburg Academy of Theater Art as a musical theater production designer (course of V.A. Okunev), St. Petersburg Art School named after N.K. Roerich (2004). Winner of the St. Petersburg Government's Young Talents Award. Recipient of the N.P. Akimov Scholarship.

She worked on productions as a performing artist at the Mariinsky Theatre in 2005: G. Puccini's Madama Butterfly, S. Slonimsky's The Magic Nut, N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov's The Tale of Tsar Saltan and G. Rossini's Journey to Reims.

As a costume designer she designed the performance "The Night Before Christmas" (2009) at the Mariinsky Theatre and "The Eleventh Commandment" (Tskhinval, 2009) at the South Ossetian State Drama Theatre named after Kosta Khetagurov.

In the state regional theater for children and youth, as a production designer designed the performance (scenography, costumes) "New-York. Salto" (Ryazan, 2010).

In Kineshma as a production designer she designed the play "Slave Girls" (2010), "The Adventures of Pinocchio" (Vladikavkaz).

In the Jewish Community Center of St. Petersburg decorated the holiday "Purim" (2008), the Independence Day of the State of Israel (2009).

She took part in exhibitions: "Young Artists of Russia" in the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation (Moscow, 2005), "Theater in Scale" (St. Petersburg, 2009), Exhibition of the Union of Artists of Russia "Theater Spring" (St. Petersburg, 2009), "Theatrical Future of Russia" (Yaroslavl, 2009), Exhibition of the Union of Artists of Russia "Autumn 2009" (St. Petersburg, 2009)
