Born in the village of Kadom, Ryazan province. He graduated from the Leningrad College of industrial arts. V. I. Mukhina (1948-1954). Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1960.
Since 1955 - the constant participant of regional exhibitions, and artists of the Volga region (1955). Exhibitor of zonal ("Great Volga", 1964, 1967, 1970, 1975, 1980), Republican (Moscow, 1955), all-Union (Moscow, 1965, 1975) and international (1960) art exhibitions. Solo exhibitions: N.
