One of the main representatives of the Odessa school of painting. He was born in Odessa. In 1947 he graduated from the OXY (studied with L. Muchnik, M. Pavlyuk, P. Konakovskogo), 1953 – MOSSES to them. V. Surikov (utilcasa D. Mochalskogo). Since 1953, he participated in Republican and all-Union exhibitions. Member of the Odessa organization of the CFS since 1957. Honored artist of Ukraine since 1972. Author of landscapes, portraits and thematic paintings that are stored in the namu, Odessa XM, etc.
