In Kiev opened school of painting and sculpture (1894-1917), she was on the streets of Lviv, No. 14.

He studied painting at the art school N. Murashko. In 1878 – 1888 he studied at the St. Petersburg Academy of arts. For successful study, received awards: 1882 – second silver medal; 1884 – two second silver medals; 1885 – first silver medal; 1886 – the first and second silver medals; 1887 – a small gold medal for the painting "View of a water mill". In 1888 he received the title of class artist of landscape painting in the first degree, and 1893 – academician. He taught at the school of painting and sculpture, which is located in Kiev at the address: Lvovskaya str., 14 in 1854 – 1917. Was part of the artistic Association of South Russian artists, which was organized by V. Vasnetsov. Participated in exhibitions of the Association together with the artists V. V. Kotarbinsky and Menkom, who were his intimate friends, S. Svetoslavskiy. P. Swedomsky, A. Svedomsky, By I. Rashevsky.
