Edward Iodine graduated from Sumy artillery school (1947), served as an officer (1947-56). He studied at the Sverdlovsk art College (1956-60), higher school of industrial art to them. V. I. Mukhina (1962-67). Edward S. worked as an artist-architect in Leningrad (1965-68), the main artist of Penza (1968-69). Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

Major works by Edward Iodines: the interior of the Museum and reading room I. N. Ulyanov (1970, münchen), tourist hotels "Swallow" (1973), Palace of culture of railway workers (1976, Perm), sanatorium "birch grove" (1982, Penza) and others. In collaboration with L. N. Skorobogatova fulfilled the mosaic: "V. I. Lenin" on the Avenue of Victory (1972, Penza), "the Penza Polytechnic" (1977, Penza), "Childhood" kindergarten № 136 (1982, Penza), "Art", for the facade of the school of culture and arts (1987, Penza) and others; the stained glass for the interiors tourist hotel "Lastochka" (1973, Penza), sanatorium "birch grove" (1984, Penza), kindergarten No. 134 (1985, Penza), the administrative building of the depot № 5 (1988, Penza); memorial sign "Pugachev" (1982, Penza). Edward Iodine is the author of the painting: "Noah's ark" (1977, PKG), "Mystery BOOM" (1982, FCL), "Bright future" (1984), portraits, landscapes. Participant of regional, zonal, Republican exhibitions. Edward Iodine - member of the artists Union of the RSFSR since 1971. Edward S. taught at Penza art College (1968-75, 1992).
