An auditor student at the Academy of fine arts. Received medals: 1852 – 2 silver for "project Finnic village picks" and 1 silver for "the project of the trading house for ladies 'toilets"; in 1854 2 gold for the "project of the public library in the capital"; in 1857, 1 gold for the program: "the Project of the high theater school for 1000 people". In the same year – the title of class artist and was sent as a pensioner of the Academy of arts abroad; in 1864, the title of academician; in 1870 – the title of Professor and appointed to fix the position of adjunct at the school, with an invitation to attend the Council of the Academy of arts. Member of the Board of the Academy of arts.

One of the brightest representatives of the St. Petersburg Academy. eclectic, master of interiors, and small, Explorer architecture. He graduated from the fine arts (1857), member. K. San-Galli on Ligovsky Avenue, the house at Pushkinskaya str., 9, Great prospect V. O., 15, etc., the Author of the lobby and winter garden in the Anichkov Palace, architect. solution Foundry bridge (1875-79), lights by the Alexander column. He was born and died in St. Petersburg.
