Alexandrovich Smirnov

Born in 1917 in Petrograd. Worked in the field of Microbiology in France and Morocco. Since 1957 he headed the scientific research Institute of Microbiology in French-canadian University of Laval, Quebec. In America, Smirnov often referred to as "canadian Positron". Known as a talented painter. His numerous sketches of plants repeatedly demonstrated in Canada and abroad.
