Born in the city of Kronstadt, Leningrad region. Semenov graduated from the College in 1959. Artist Gorodets painting.
Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1990. 1962 - the constant participant of regional exhibitions. Exhibitor of zonal ("Great Volga", 1991, 1998, 2003), Republican (Moscow, 1990, 1992), national (Moscow, 1993, 1997, 1999, 2000) art exhibitions.
