Born in Volgograd region.

1969-Graduated from art-graphic faculty of the Smolensk state pedagogical Institute.

1970 was Awarded the Grand medal and Diploma for participation in the exhibition "Soviet Russia".

1976 Worked in the creative group on the Northern sea route (Norway to Japan).

1978 Creative business trip to Franz Josef Land.

1978 Creative work at the North Pole.

1980 - 1994 he Lived and creatively worked in the Arctic on the island of Dixon.

1995 Returned to Smolensk.
