Orlan born in the village of Krasninskoe district of Smolensk region.

In 1939 he Graduated from the Irkutsk aviation school.

1941-1944 the participant of the great Patriotic war.

1943-1945 was Studied at the Air force Academy. Zhukovsky, Moscow.

1949 Graduated from the art Studio in Leningrad (headed by A. A. Debler).

1949-1953 Member Of The Smolensk Association "Vsekohudozhnik".

1953-1979 the Artist Smolensk artistic production workshops of the artists Fund of the RSFSR.

1953-1955 was Elected to the Board of the Smolensk organization CX RSFSR.

1965 member of the Union of artists of the USSR (since 1991 - member of Union of artists of Russia).

1976 Awarded diploma of the Union of artists of the USSR "For excellent work".

1979 Awarded the diploma of the Union of artists of the RSFSR "For creative achievements in the development of Soviet art".
