Born in the village Chemodanovka, Penza province. He studied at the PHU (1937-1942, 1947-1948) of the Department of sculpture at the A. M. Speransky and I. S. Goryushkin-Sorokopudov and IZHSA (1948-1954) at V. V. Lishev. He lived in Leningrad. Worked in monumental and easel sculpture. Author of monuments, portraits and compositions. The author of the sculpture "Suvorov" (1964), tirazhirovatjsya in Calah. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.
