Honored artist of the RSFSR. Since 1947 he studied at the Moscow Institute of applied and decorative arts (MIPIDI). In 1953 he graduated from the Leningrad Higher art-industrial school im. V. Mukhina. Professor MVHPU. From 1975 to 1984 he was an artist at the Dyatkovo crystal plant. Participant of home and foreign exhibitions since 1958.
