Was born in seven art historian Kristaps Elias. 1949 – graduated from the art Academy of Latvia, painting Department, diploma work "Gathering apples", under the direction of G. Elias. 1949. – exhibited in exhibitions. Solo exhibitions of Riga, Ulbroka, Jelgava (1986.), Plato (1979.), Stockholm (1989.), Riga (1991.) Since 1957 – member of the Artists Union. The artist is diverse and has worked in almost all genre styles. Realist. Worked in applied graphics and painting.
