I was born on December 26, 1971. since the mid-90s I am engaged in work related to leather - dyeing, care, creation of applied products
I have been teaching various areas of leather craft since 2008
I am the author of books, educational programs for adults and children, and maintain popular blogs. I regularly participate in TV programs as a guest expert
I am passionate about the history of leather craft, writing profile essays and articles
Since 2018, I have been passionate about creating art objects from natural leather, exploring the possibilities of different textures of leather on the aesthetic perception of the viewer

Creative credo

My credo is to explore the possibilities of natural leather as an artistic medium. I experiment with different techniques (carving, embossing, molding, collage, patina), trying to look at artistic trends and styles through the prism of a living material with its unique properties.

Leather offers me many opportunities to experiment with texture, volume and textures. I can create relief work, add three-dimensional detail using carving and molding techniques, or I can take inspiration from impressionism and use leather to create abstract textures

I believe that leather can be the perfect material to express the most daring creative ideas. In the process, I strive to ensure that each piece of leather is used to its fullest potential and conveys its unique texture and color

My entire creative process is based on the endless possibilities that natural leather offers. Each work is a unique combination of material, technique and idea that results in an author's art object
