Mikhail Petrovich Nardin
Born in 1955 in Vladikavkaz, North Ossetia.
Higher medical education. During his studies and service at the Military Medical Academy, he developed a love for the city on the Neva River, which became the main theme of his work.
Works in watercolor, pastel, prefers oil painting. The genre of cityscape has become the main one. Most of the works are devoted to St. Petersburg and its suburbs. In his works Mikhail shows St. Petersburg then under the rays of the sun, then snow-covered, then under the summer or fall rain. At any time of day and in different seasons, but necessarily cozy, friendly and beautiful. The paintings are always optimistic, with a broad perspective. Accurate in details, generous in tones, rich in interesting angles and contrasts.
During trips with great pleasure and enthusiasm writes landscapes of the North Caucasus, favorite since childhood.
For the last three years she has been engaged only in painting. Participates in city plein airs, competitions and exhibitions. Member of the Union of Russian Artists (SRH) since 2023. Participated in three exhibitions of the Union of Russian Artists, international exhibition and competition St. Petersburg Art Week 2023 (1st and 2nd place), numerous collective exhibitions in district clubs and private galleries.
