Painter. He studied at the Moscow school of painting, sculpture and architecture (1883-1890) by I. I. Levitan, V. E. Makovsky, A. K. Savrasov. Participant of exhibitions of the Moscow society of lovers of the arts, the Association of traveling art exhibitions. Member of the Union of Russian artists (1908-1917). Follower of Isaac Levitan; author of lyrical landscapes-sketches depicting the wildlife of the Central regions of Russia ("the spring", 1900, TG). His works are in the museums of Astrakhan, Vologda, Ekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Penza, Perm, Ramensky, Saransk, Tver, Tyumen, Ulyanovsk, Yakutsk and others.
